Beck Optronic Solutions has recently delivered two space qualified Maksutov lenses to Ghalam (a joint venture between JSC "National Company Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary" (KGS) and EADS Astrium). The lenses were designed, manufactured and qualified by BOS.

The Flight Model will be launched in 2017 on the KazSTSAT platform which will also carry a DMC multispectral imager, the optics for which were also designed, manufactured and qualified by Beck.
